RFBC Acceptable Use Policy
River Falls Baseball Baseball Council
First National Bank of River Falls Field
Acceptable Use Policy
I. PURPOSE
A. The River Falls Baseball Council (RFBC) supports the use of First National Bank of River Falls Field (FNBRFF). The RFBC welcomes and encourages responsible members of River Falls Youth Baseball and River Falls Youth Softball to use FNBRFF when such use does not interfere with River Falls High School Baseball, River Falls American Legion Baseball, River Falls Fighting Fish Baseball, or River Falls Grouper Baseball.
B. The RFBC also supports the rental of FNBRFF by outside clubs, universities, or other organizations when approved by the RFBC.
II. GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY
A. Individual members of the aforementioned organizations may utilize FNBRFF in order to develop their skills as baseball/softball players. Individuals may use the batting cages, bullpens, and field for hitting, throwing, or fielding practice. Use of FNBRFF comes at the risk of each individual and the RFBC shall not be held liable for any accidents/injuries that may occur while using FNBRFF. Players using the field should abide by all field regulations that prohibit the wearing of metal cleats/spikes, eating of sunflower seeds and/or gum, and hitting/throwing into fencing.
Individuals found violating field use regulations are subject to disciplinary action to include loss of access to FNBRFF or fines, as determined by the RFBC. Damage to equipment or structures associated with FNBRFF shall be reported to the RFBC and may result in the person responsible incurring repair costs and/or facing disciplinary action.
Individuals of the aforementioned organizations using FNBRFF for individual skill development must not interfere with practice, pre-game preparation, or game use by River Falls High School Baseball, River Falls American Legion Baseball, River Falls Fighting Fish Baseball, or River Falls Grouper Baseball teams or members. These teams and/or their members have full authority to remove any individuals who may be interfering with their organized practices, pre-game preparation, or game use. This policy does not allow for individual members of other communities to use FNBRFF. RFBC board members may ask individuals to identify themselves and their community, and have full authority to remove individuals not identified within this policy. This policy does not allow for organized practices for youth teams. The expectation is that organized practices by youth teams should occur at fields other than FNBRFF. Organized practices at FNBRFF must be requested by River Falls Youth Baseball/Softball organizations, and may be approved by the RFBC in special circumstances.
B. Rental of FNBRFF will require users to request a rental agreement from the RFBC. Rental cost and security deposit amount shall be negotiated based on factors such as time needed, presumed wear and tear, set up and close down needs, use of the press box, score board, lights, and other facilities. Groups using FNBRFF shall be responsible for providing adequate supervision, and must furnish a certificate of insurance for liability limits for no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence naming the RFBC as an additional insured, or they must submit a liability waiver signed by all participants. Insurance may be in the form of a blanket policy or a certificate for one-time events. Proof of insurance or disclaimer forms must be provided before the event can take place. The applicant and/or organization agree to hold harmless the RFBC from any expenses or costs associated with the use of FNBRFF.
Organizations approved to rent FNBRFF shall abide by the regulations that prohibit the wearing of metal cleats/spikes, eating of sunflower seeds, and hitting/throwing into fencing. Organizations found violating field use regulations are subject to disciplinary action to include loss of access to FNBRFF, fines, or forfeiture of the security deposit as determined by the RFBC. Damage to equipment or structures associated with FNBRFF shall be reported to the RFBC and may result in repair costs and/or forfeiture of the security deposit.
